Ce relativement petit tapis provient de la tribu des Aït Douchen, une population appartenant aux Aït Ouaouzguit mais installée au sud-est du Siroua, près de Tazenakht et en direction de Ouarzazate. Il est entièrement tissé en laine et présente à l'intérieur d'une bordure typique de la région - ligne en zig-zag, un champ constitué d'une succession de bandes de petits motifs géométriques. La dominante jaune, caractéristique des Ouaouzguite est présente, et les motifs employés sont dans la tradition berbère locale. Dimensions: env 180 x 110 cm.

This quite small carpet comes from the Aït Duchen, a berber population belonging to the Aït Wauzguit confederation and living south-east of the Sirwa mountains, close to Tazenakht. Entirely made of handspun wools, it is surrounded by a border typical of this area - broken line, with small berber elements arranged in successives stripes in the otherwise plain field. The dominant yellow color is characteristical of the Wauzguit works. Dimensions : ca 180 x 110 cm / 6' x 3'8".
