Couple de statuettes de fécondité en bronze sur terre cuite, provenant du sud du Tchad/nord Cameroun. D'inspiration phallique, ces statuettes sont à peine "humanisées"/antropomorphes, seuls deux yeux, le nez et la bouche étant très très légèrement esquissés. La patine est probablement due à un enfouissement prolongé.Dimensions : hauteur: env 10cm.

Couple of small fecondity statues/puppets, made of bronze over a terracotta core, and coming from southern Chad, northern Cameroon. Showing a simplified phallic shape, these two statues display a very lightly marked pair of eye, a nose and a mouth. Patina is most certainly due to a long underground stay. Dimensions: height : ca 10 cm/4".
