In the Thanakra gallery, that he created in 1995, Henri Crouzet introduces a collection of moroccan berber tribal carpets he has chosen and collected in Morocco during his frequent and many trips to this country.
The graphical strength and the real authenticity of these rugs emerge from the ancient berber traditions and practices, and from the creativity of berber women weaving for themselves. All of this makes those carpets more and more looked for and appreciated when comfort, charm and personnality lead the decorative quest; elements already identified by a few leading european architects of the early 20th century. Thanakra also offers a selection of african and oceanian objects as well as moroccan tribal textiles.
All carpets, textiles and objects are visible in Paris and may be shipped around the world at competitive rates.
